This piece is inspired by an often unspoken appreciation for the grandmothers, mothers, aunts, cousins and friends in my life; 'Quilted Memories' shines a light on the abundant love and joy reflected through the beautiful flower gardens and handcrafted quilts that surrounded my childhood growing up. Each scrap fabric square, each hand-quilted stitch and each flower petal reverbs the immense care these nurturing women so generously shared with those surrounding them.
